Still Standing for Culture: the pleasure of a new link between audiences and artists
Across Belgium, the cultural sector took part in the national “Still standing for culture” rally on Saturday 20 February. On the Grand’ Place de Jodoigne, it was the fairground theatre of the Baladins du Miroir that took the other cultural actors of the commune to the streets. In front of several dozen people, the joyful troupe offered music, songs and dance. The result was an intense encounter, a long-forbidden social link between artists and their audiences.
